ALUMNI STORIES

Tony Lai

Major: BSA Biology | Business Foundations Certificate

Years in CSA: 2012-2015

Favorite CSA memory: My first family event as an officer. The entire Frosted Flakes family came out, carved pumpkins, and ate the food Tiger Wu and I made.

Company: Currently studying at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (TCOM) in Fort Worth, Texas.

Advice: Be open minded and try new things. Still make smart decisions, but just step out of your comfort zone once in a while. Put CNN or something as your homepage to keep up with current events – sports (guys AND girls), politics, etc.

Hobbies: Basketball, cooking, video games

ANGIE ZHOU

Major: International Relations and Global Studies & Asian American Studies

Years in CSA: 2010-2014

Favorite CSA memory: Too many... but I would have to say Speed Dating for Charity was particularly significant. CSA and TASA officers worked really hard to pull it off and it was a huge success. Writing a check out to Hearts and Hands for China made everything worthwhile :)

Company: Currently enrolled as a full-time student at the Glassell Studio through the Houston Museum of Fine Arts

Advice: Travel! Take the opportunity to see as much of the world and meet as many different people as you can. Experiencing other cultures, food, and languages will enrich your perspective on life in many ways.

MICHAEL LIU

Major: Sociology

Years in CSA: 2006-2008

Company: Golden Frog

Advice: The feeling of being uncomfortable is your indication to go do whatever that makes you feel uncomfortable. Instead of interpreting it as something to shy away from, interpret it as something to seek out. You will find out that there are so many things that will engage your mind.
